This Privacy Policy explains what information #VIBEZ collects when you use the app, how we use it, and the choices you have. It is written to meet the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and equivalent laws.

Who is responsible (data controller): #VIBEZ is the controller of the personal data described here. You can reach us, or ask anything about your data, at appvibezconnect+privacy@gmail.com.

Information we collect: your email address and phone number for sign-up; your gender, sexuality, and the gender(s) and sexuality(ies) you want to see; an approximate location derived from your device to sort nearby people; and the profile photos you upload.

How we use it: to create and verify your account, to show you matching people sorted by distance, to run AI photo verification, to prevent fraud and underage use, and to provide the core matching experience. We do not sell your personal information.

Sharing: we share the minimum necessary with service providers (hosting, verification, analytics) acting as our processors under GDPR-compliant contracts. We may disclose information when required by law. We never sell your data or share it for advertising.

Sensitive data: your sexuality (and, in some countries, data revealing it) is a special category of personal data. We process it only with your explicit consent, given when you set your preferences at sign-up, and only to show you people who match. You can withdraw that consent at any time by deleting your account.

Your rights: you can access, correct, export, restrict, object to, or delete your data from in-app settings or by contacting us — see "Your Rights" below. Deleting your account removes your profile and matching data.

Retention: we keep your profile while your account is active. After you delete it, profile data and photos are erased within 30 days; a minimal record (such as a hashed identifier of a banned account or proof of age verification) may be kept for up to 12 months for safety and legal obligations, and billing records for as long as tax law requires.

This Data Privacy Policy sets out the legal basis and safeguards for processing personal data within #VIBEZ, in line with the GDPR.

Legal basis for each purpose: providing the matching service and running your account — performance of a contract; your sexuality, preferences and profile photos — your explicit consent; age and photo verification, fraud prevention and platform safety — our legal obligations and legitimate interests; optional analytics and marketing — your consent, which you may withdraw at any time.

AI photo verification and automated decisions: uploaded photos are checked by automated systems to detect fake, non-compliant, or underage images. Where an automated check would block your account, you can ask for a human to review the decision and contest the outcome. This processing is limited to verification and is not used for unrelated purposes.

Location: proximity is derived from device location, only with the permission you grant your device. We use it to sort and display nearby people and do not store precise movement history. You can turn the permission off at any time in your device settings.

International transfers: your data may be processed outside the European Economic Area. Where it is, we rely on an adequacy decision of the European Commission or on Standard Contractual Clauses together with additional technical safeguards. You can ask us for a copy of the safeguards in place.

Security: data is encrypted in transit and at rest, access is limited to staff who need it, and we will notify you and the competent supervisory authority of a personal data breach where the law requires it.

Children: #VIBEZ is strictly 18+. We do not knowingly process data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has signed up, contact us so we can remove the account.

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you have the following rights over your personal data. We answer every request free of charge and within one month.

• Access — get a copy of the data we hold about you.
• Rectification — correct anything inaccurate or incomplete.
• Erasure — have your data deleted ("right to be forgotten").
• Restriction — pause our use of your data while a dispute is resolved.
• Portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format or have it sent to another service.
• Objection — object to processing based on our legitimate interests, and to direct marketing at any time.
• Withdraw consent — withdraw any consent you gave, without affecting processing that already took place.
• Human review — ask a person to review an automated verification decision that affects your account.

To exercise any of these, use in-app settings or email appvibezconnect+privacy@gmail.com. We may ask you to confirm your identity before we act.

Complaints: if you are not satisfied with our response, you can lodge a complaint with the data protection authority in your country of residence, work, or where the issue occurred. A list of EU authorities is published by the European Data Protection Board.

Reporting illegal content (EU Digital Services Act): you can report illegal or harmful content in the app or by emailing appvibezconnect+privacy@gmail.com. We confirm receipt, review it promptly, tell you the outcome and the reasons for it, and you may appeal any decision we take about your content or account.

These Terms govern your use of #VIBEZ. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them.

Eligibility: you must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract. Sign-up includes age verification.

Your account: you are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it updated.

Conduct: you agree not to misuse the app — including harassing others, uploading content you don't have rights to, impersonating someone, attempting to reverse-engineer or scrape the service, or circumventing verification.

Content: you retain ownership of your profile content. You grant #VIBEZ a license to display it within the app for the purpose of matching. Content that violates these Terms or the Community Guidelines may be removed and your account suspended.

No guarantees: #VIBEZ provides a matching service. We don't guarantee matches, dates, or outcomes, and we're not responsible for conduct between users offline.

Termination: you can delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

EU consumers: if you live in the EU, you keep all mandatory consumer rights of your home country, and nothing here limits them. For any paid subscription you have 14 days to withdraw from the purchase; if you ask us to start the service immediately, you may owe a proportionate amount for what you used. Disputes can also be raised with your local consumer body.

Changes: we may update these Terms. We'll notify you of material changes through the app at least 30 days in advance where the law requires it, and you may close your account before they take effect.

#VIBEZ uses cookies and similar technologies to keep the app working and to understand how it's used. In the EEA and UK, anything beyond strictly necessary cookies is only set after you give consent, and refusing is as easy as accepting.

Strictly necessary cookies: required for login, session security, and core features. These do not need consent, and the app doesn't work without them.

Functional cookies: remember your preferences, such as filter choices, so you don't have to set them every time. Set only with your consent.

Analytics cookies: help us understand aggregate usage so we can improve. Set only with your consent, and they do not identify you personally.

Your choices: you can change or withdraw your cookie consent at any time in the app's privacy settings, or manage cookies through your device or browser. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it.

The #VIBEZ name, logo, app design, software, and content we create are owned by #VIBEZ and protected by intellectual property laws.

Our rights: you may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from the app or its branding without our written permission.

Your content: you confirm that the photos and information you upload are yours or that you have the right to use them, and that they don't infringe anyone else's rights.

Reporting infringement: if you believe your intellectual property is being used without permission on #VIBEZ, contact us with details and we'll review and take action where appropriate.

These guidelines describe the behavior we expect on #VIBEZ. They exist so everyone can use the app safely and respectfully.

Be real: use your own photos, your real age, and accurate information. AI photo verification and age checks exist to protect this.

Be respectful: no harassment, hate speech, threats, sexual exploitation, or unwanted advances. Treat every person as a person.

Be safe: don't share other people's private information, don't attempt to scam or deceive, and don't use the app for commercial solicitation.

Adults only: #VIBEZ is for people 18 and over. Content depicting or implying minors in any sexual context is prohibited and will be reported.

Consent matters: respect boundaries and reports. If someone tells you to stop, stop.

Enforcement: violations can lead to content removal, loss of features, or account suspension. Report violations through the app or by contacting us.
